The big theme for the year was flexible scheduling; our biggest priority was giving you features to build your dream schedule.
You now have complete control over your schedule, incuding the ability to:

- Customize what services can be booked online
- Customize what practitioners can be booked online
- Enforce cancellation policies automatically
- Set custom rules for new or existing clients

Split Your Day and Eliminate Scheduling Gaps
Your time is valuable, and we've created tools to help you make the most of it. With our new scheduling features, you can:
- Split your day into two distinct shifts
- Allow clients to book only during specific windows of time
- Eliminate scheduling gaps by requiring bookings immediately before or after existing appointments
These tools not only make your day more efficient but also reduce wasted time and increase your earning potential.
New Online Booking Your Clients Will Love
Your customers' experience using ClinicSense matters too! We've updated our interface with a more modern look and feel so your client's booking experience can be as enjoyable as their treatment. First impressions matter, this new look ensures your business stands out from the start.
Maintain Boundaries With The Blocklist
Now you can block problematic clients from booking online or require prepayment for services from clients with a history of missed appointments or late cancellations.
By giving you greater control over who can access your schedule, the Blocklist helps you focus on building strong, healthy client relationships while safeguarding your business and giving you peace of mind.

Connect Better with Your Clients Through Email Segmentation
We know how important communication is when it comes to client retention and satisfaction. That's why we've launched advanced email segmentation. With this tool, you can send targeted emails to specific groups of clients based on 8 unique filters such as:
- Last appointment date
- Service booked
- Practitioner seen
- And more!
Whether running a promotion or following up with clients you haven't connected with in a while - email segmentation means your message will always reach the right people at the right time.
Enhanced SOAP Notes + Unlimited Templates!
This year, we've upgraded our SOAP notes on all accounts to include unlimited templates for all account types!
You can now save and reuse as many note templates as you need, giving you the flexibility to document your way.
Additionally, we introduced draw-on SOAP notes, allowing you to draw on your notes using your finger or a stylus pen.

Mandatory Cancellation Policy Agreements
Protecting your income and ensuring clear client agreements are essential. That's why we've made it mandatory for clients to agree to your cancellation policy when booking.
With this feature, you can enforce your policies confidently and build stronger relationships with clients who respect your time. It also provides you with solid proof in case of disputes or chargebacks.
Our Community Has Exploded!
Did you know we have a community where like-minded wellness practitioners connect and support one another? It's called the ClinicSense Community, and this year it grew to over 1,200 people.
This year we had a lot of highlights including:
Hosting 23 virtual workshops
We hosted 23 Live Lunch & Learn workshops featuring industry experts on topics like building a six-figure business, tax and bookkeeping best practices, managing client boundaries effectively, and more.
Real- talk on hot topics
Everyone shared their two cents on topics like selling products, how to navigate creepy clients, their biggest career wins and flops and other spicy water cooler topics that feel empowering to connect on.
Celebrating + supporting one another
We celebrated each other with many community spotlights, and celebration on wins during challenges like the ClinicSense gift card challenge.

What's Set To Launch In 2025?
2025 has a few big features already in the works; the top two include:
Direct Billing Through Telus E-Claims
We are working with Telus Health portal to integrate, thus allowing you to offer direct billing to your clients if you are based in Canada.

Wait List Is Launching Soon!
We are happy to share that we have started working on a new wait list feature. It will be rolled out in 3 phases.
Phase 1 is expected in January 2025 and will allow clients to add themselves to the wait list. You can then go to your wait list to see if you can fill a cancelled time slot.
Phase 2 and 3 will introduce automation to the process. More info is coming soon!
